Io Communications has completed its first shooting for the one hour documentsry film, Before the Curtain Rises. The crew travelled across the state shooting at the Majectic Theatre in San Antonio, the Majestic Theatre in Dallas, and the Plaza Thaetre in El Paso. They also conducted 13 interviews in Houston, Austin, Dallas, and San Antonio with some of the pioneers of Interstate, theater historians, theater developers, and theatergoers.
