Dear Mr. Mills,
We are thrilled to hear about your efforts to preserve an important
part of theatre history and that you will also be producing a
documentary on the ongoing restoration of the Plaza Theatre in
El Paso, hi addition we applaud the folks involved in this project
who with equal enthusiasm are working to restore the theatre organ
at the Plaza.
The American Theatre Organ Society is dedicated to the preservation
and restoration of these grand instruments and in many cases to
the theatres to which they had made their home for decades. We
are glad to support all who share our vision.
ATOS looks forward to the final phase of the theatres restoration
and the completion of your film, which we hope to be able to use
to foster awareness in the history of theatregoing and of the
theatre organ as a unique American musical art form.
